3. Change your sound over time with the modulation effects

The modulation effects refer to a category of effects that modify the audio sound over time to create pulsating or swirling effects. The current modulation effects include the chorus, the flank, the phaser and the tremolo, and these allow DJs to add movement and texture to their mixtures. TRAKTOR PRO offers a large collection of modulation effects, including FLANGER, Modulatory ring, filter: 92 LFO, Filter: 92 Pulse, Mulholland Drive, phaser, phaser pulse, phaser flow and many others.

To start with the modulation effects, load the phaser in the FX 1 slit as a single FX. (See the delay and reverberation paragraphs above to select a single FX). Load a track in bridge A and play it, and light the effect by pressing the button under the D / W button. Turn on the FX 1 button. Adjust the D / W to around 50% and experiment by increasing the rate and feedback.
